BTCCSquare news:

Interactive Brokers Group Inc. has initiated a pilot program allowing U.S. retail investors to fund brokerage accounts directly with stablecoins. The feature, announced by chairman Thomas Peterffy at a Goldman Sachs conference, eliminates the need for traditional bank transfers. Eligible clients can now deposit stablecoins from crypto wallets, though the firm has not yet disclosed supported assets or technical specifications.

The gradual rollout marks a significant step in bridging traditional finance with digital assets. By enabling direct stablecoin deposits, Interactive Brokers reduces friction for crypto-native investors seeking exposure to conventional markets. The MOVE follows growing institutional demand for crypto integration, particularly among tech-savvy retail traders.
